Duration 12 days Season May - Jun & Sept -Nov Trekking Routes Bageshwar - Khati - Phurkia - Zero Point Kafni glacier" trek is situated on the east side of Pindar valley and south of Nanda kot peak. This region has its own charm with the solitude it presents. This region is very rich in wildlife. The Himalayas peaks near the glacier are Nandakot (6860 mtrs), Nandabhanar (6104 mtrs) indari - the most accessible glacier in the Kumaon region, is located at 3820 m in Almoradistrict , measuring 3 kms in length and 0.25 km in breadth.

Day Itinerary

  • Day 1
    Arrive Delhi

    Up on arrival at Delhi airport met our representative and then transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
  • Day 2
    Delhi - Kathgodam
  • :-
    After breakfast half day sightseeing at Delhi. By evening board a night train for Kathgodam. Overnight journey.
  • Day 3
    Kathgodam - Bageshwar (160 kms/5-6 hrs)

    Arrival at Kathgodam by early in the morning and then drive to Bageshwar. Bageshwar is situated at the confluence of river Saryu, Gomati and the latent Bhagirathi. On arrival check in to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
  • Day 4
    Bageshwar - Song (40 kms/1 hrs)- Loharkhet (13 kms/4-5 hrs)

    In the morning after breakfast drive to Song and from here trek to Loharkhet. Loharkhet, a small hamlet on the banks of river Saryu. On arrival set out camp for overnight stay.
  • Day 5
    Loharkhet - Khati (2210 mts/7248 ft)

    In the morning we will trek to Khati. Khati is the biggest village enroute Pindari. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
  • Day 6
    Khati - Phurkia (3260 mts/10693 ft) 9 kms/ 4-5 hrs

    In the morning trek to Phurkia. Phurkia, where the trees give way to alpine pastures and shepherds can be seen guiding their large flock across grazy uplands. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
  • Day 7
    Phurkia - Zero Point - Dwali (2575 mts/8446 ft) 18 kms/6-7 hrs

    In the morning we will trek up to Zero point. From Zero point, we can see the view of Pindari Glacier. After exploring zero point trek to Dwali. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
  • Day 8
    Dwali - Kafni - Dwali (24 kms/7-8 hrs)

    After early breakfast trek to Kafni glacier left of the Pinder valley and the Nandakot. From Kafni glacier we can see the main Himalayan ranges. After exploring Kafni glacier trek back to Dwali for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 9
    Dwali - Dhakuri (2690 mts/8824 ft) 19 kms/6 hrs

    In the morning we will trek to Dhakuri. Dhakuri - Binjak ridge offers a view of the snow-clad Nandakot summit to the east of Maktoli to the west. Dinner and overnight stay in Dhakuri.
  • Day 10
    Dhakuri – Song (16 kms/5 hrs) - Bageshwar (40 kms/1 hrs)

    In the morning we will trek up to Song and then further drive to Bageshwar. Dinner and overnight stay in Bageshwar.
  • Day 11
    Bageshwar –Kathgodam - Delhi
  • :-
    In the morning drive to Kathgodam and from here take a night train for Delhi. Overnight journey.
  • Day 12
    Delhi
  • :-
    Arrival at Delhi by morning then transfer to hotel for relax. Evening transfer to airport to catch your onwards flight.

Cost Include


• 2 guides for the group of maximum 14 trekkers so 1 guide for 7 group members. This will ensure high safety and more information and personal attention which are necessary to appreciate a trek. All our guides are professionally trained and have many years of relevant experience in guiding treks.
• Accommodation (hotel or Guest house or home stay or camping).
• Good quality camping arrangements.
we believe that roughing it out necessarily doesn’t mean sleeping in smelly sleeping bags, compromising on safety by using low quality equipment and having unappetizing meals. We focus on your safety, basic comforts and the environment while camping. Keeping this is mind, the following equipment is provided on the trek.
• 3/4 season imported alpine tents ,sleeping bag , mattresses , Hot water bottles in the night (during the trek), Camping stools, Mess Tent, Toilet tents.
• All meals starting from dinner on Day 1 till breakfast on last day. A lot of emphasis is given to nutritional needs and a menu of vegetarian dishes is prepared accordingly. Tea/coffee will be served throughout.
• Porter/mule charges for carrying camping equipment & rations.
• Forest entry charges, permits & camping fee (if any).
• First aid kit (our guides are certified in handling first aid situations).
